Mercedes-Benz ECU remapping

Engineer-modified tuning files for modern Mercedes diesels, mild-hybrid petrols and the 9G-Tronic gearbox — from a single C-Class to a whole Sprinter fleet, delivered worldwide through our panel.

What does a Stage 1 file change on the OM654 and OM656?

A Stage 1 file recalibrates boost, injection and torque management within the limits of the standard hardware, so both diesels pull harder through the mid-range without losing their everyday manners. Mercedes calibrates the 2.0-litre OM654 and 3.0-litre straight-six OM656 conservatively, covering every market, fuel and climate. Our engineers rework the original read from your exact vehicle — never an auto-generated map — and return it through the panel, typically the same day.

How do you handle AdBlue-era diesels?

For any vehicle used on public roads we tune around the emissions systems, never through them — AdBlue, EGR and DPF stay fully operational. Euro 6 diesels monitor their SCR closely; a careless file ends in warning lamps and derates. Where a customer genuinely operates off-road — motorsport or export — AdBlue/SCR, EGR and DPF deletion can be quoted as a separate service.

Off-road, motorsport and export use only. Removing or disabling emissions systems on a vehicle driven on public roads is illegal in the EU and most jurisdictions. The workshop and vehicle owner are responsible for compliance in their market.

Do you tune the M264 and M254 mild-hybrid petrols?

Yes — both 2.0-litre petrol units accept a Stage 1 calibration that sharpens throttle response and strengthens the pull across the rev range. The 48-volt starter-generator hardware stays exactly as Mercedes built it; our work is on the combustion side. Every file is reviewed by an engineer before delivery.

Can the 9G-Tronic gearbox be calibrated as well?

It can, and on a tuned car it usually should be: the TCU carries its own torque limits that can cap what the engine file delivers. 9G-Tronic TCU tuning aligns those limits with the new engine calibration and improves shift response, so the drivetrain behaves as one system.

Why do fleets send us their Sprinters?

Because one file, validated once, can be rolled out across an entire van fleet, with volume discounts and a single engineering contact in Spain. Sprinter and Vito operators typically ask for smoother torque delivery under load, accelerator pedal calibration and speed-limiter adjustment where regulations allow. Running a fleet? Our dealer program exists for exactly that kind of volume.

OM654 vs OM656: what changes for the tuner?

Same family philosophy, very different characters.

Mercedes-Benz tuning FAQ

Do I need hardware changes for a Mercedes Stage 1?

No. Stage 1 files are written for the standard turbocharger, injectors and intercooler. If you plan hardware upgrades later, tell us first and we will scope a Stage 2 quote instead.

Can you switch off AdBlue on a road-registered car?

Not for road use. AdBlue, EGR and DPF deletions are supplied exclusively for off-road, motorsport or export vehicles. Disabling emissions systems on a vehicle driven on public roads is illegal in the EU and most other jurisdictions.

How do I send you a Mercedes ECU read?

Register at app.repromatronic.es, upload the original read from your master tool — KESS3, Flex, Autotuner, bFlash and other master tools are supported — and download the modified file from the same panel, typically the same day during support hours.

Ready to tune a Mercedes?

Open a file request, or talk to an engineer first — replies the same business day (CET).
