Chiptuning training courses

Learn ECU remapping the way it is actually done in a professional workshop: on real hardware, with a safe procedure, taught by the team that modifies customer files every day. Courses are taught in Spain; software-focused training can be arranged remotely in English on request.

Which chiptuning courses can you take?

Repromatronic offers one core in-person chiptuning course plus focused modules: WinOLS professional training, a Hybrid & Electric Vehicle course (HVT), Tesla and Cupra courses, and brand-specific modules for six more brands. Every enrollment starts as an inquiry — no online checkout. Tell us where you are starting from and we will recommend the right sequence.

WinOLS professional training

Professional map editing in EVC WinOLS: projects, map search and identification, checksums and a repeatable workflow. Software-focused, so remote sessions in English can be arranged on request.

Hybrid & Electric Vehicle course (HVT)

How hybrid and electric drivetrains change workshop practice: architecture, safe working around high-voltage systems, and what diagnostic and tuning work looks like on electrified platforms.

Tesla course

A dedicated module on the Tesla platform: how it differs from conventional vehicles and what that means for workshop practice. Pairs well with our Tesla tuning brand page.

Cupra course

Focused on the Cupra range and its VW Group platform base: what to expect when tuning Cupra models, and how we back that work through the file service. See what we cover on Cupra remapping.

Brand-specific modules

Short modules focused on one brand at a time: Ford, Land Rover, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault and Toyota. The efficient way to extend your coverage after the base course.

Where and how. All courses are taught in Spain. For software-focused training such as WinOLS, remote sessions in English are available on request — ask us and we will confirm what is possible for your case. Dates and pricing are confirmed personally with each enrollment request.

Who are these courses for?

These courses are for workshops that want to add a chiptuning line to their business, and for technicians who want to go independent with their own tuning service. Both start in the same place: a repeatable, safe procedure for reading, modifying and writing ECU files.

For an established workshop, tuning is a natural extension — you already have the customers, the lifts and the diagnostic habit. Training gets you from "we send everything out" to offering Stage 1, gearbox calibration and the rest of our tuning services under your own name. For an independent technician, the course is the foundation the rest of the business stands on.

What will you be able to do after the course?

After the in-person course you will be able to read an ECU on the bench, handle tuning files and master tools with a safe procedure, and deliver chiptuning work to your own customers. Just as important: you will know what not to touch, and how to back up and recover before anything goes wrong.

You are not left alone afterwards. Your first customer jobs can lean on our file service — upload the original read through the workshop panel and an engineer returns the modified file during support hours, typically the same day. Workshops that commit volume can also apply for dealer terms.

Learning by yourself vs. structured training: what actually changes?

Self-teaching gets you fragments; structured training gets you a procedure. Chiptuning punishes gaps in knowledge with bricked ECUs and unhappy customers, so the difference shows up early — usually on the first write.

Factor Learning by yourself Structured training
Time to first safe file Months of trial and error across forums and generic map packs Your first files are written under supervision during the course itself
Risk of bricking ECUs High — recovery procedures are usually learned after the failure Backups and recovery are taught before you ever touch a customer car
Tool handling Menus explored blind; key functions unused or misused Guided hands-on use of master tools and bench setups
Support after None — you are alone with the next failed write Engineer support and our file service back your first customer jobs

Chiptuning course FAQs

Do I need prior chiptuning experience?

No. The in-person chiptuning course starts from the fundamentals: how an ECU works, how files are read and written, and how maps are identified. Technicians with general workshop experience progress faster, but no previous tuning knowledge is required. Advanced modules such as WinOLS professional training assume you already work with tuning files or have completed a base course.

What language are the courses taught in?

Courses are taught in Spanish, in person in Spain. English-language materials and support can be arranged on request, especially for software-focused training such as WinOLS. Contact us before enrolling and we will confirm what is possible for the course you are interested in.

Do I need my own tools to attend?

No. Training equipment is provided during the course. If you already own a master tool such as KESS3, Flex or Autotuner, bring it and we will show you how to apply the procedure on your own hardware. If you want to equip your workshop afterwards, our equipment catalog covers master tools, licenses and accessories.

Will I receive a certificate?

Ask us when you request enrollment info and we will confirm what documentation comes with the course you choose, along with dates and pricing. What counts at the bench is what you can do — every course is built around that.

How do I enroll in a course?

Send a request through our contact form or by WhatsApp and tell us which course interests you. We reply the same business day (CET) with available dates, location, pricing and the next steps. There is no online checkout — every enrollment is confirmed personally by our team.
